Meridian advised the shareholders of Inventif RMA Holdings Limited (“RMA”) on the disposal of their shares to NTT DATA Europe (“NTT Data”).

RMA focuses on the design and delivery of business solutions to help experts in business sectors such as healthcare, finance and public sector.

The combined offering enables the Japanese owned Telco giant to offer a unique ability within the market, where a single provider offers the depth of experience in designing solutions alongside the ability to provide the development expertise to realise these designs cost effectively.

The NTT DATA group will benefit from the knowledge and expertise of RMA’s 80-strong workforce to further enhance its value proposition and extend its reach in the UK and EMEA markets. RMA’s two managing directors, Peter Lelliott and Chris Boulter, will remain in the company and take on expanded roles within the NTT DATA.
Peter Lelliott, outgoing Managing Director of RMA commented, "Meridian have been instrumental in ensuring that this deal completed as planned. Their knowledge of the industry and their expert guidance through a complicated process was first class. Meridian are committed to their clients and always made time to assist and advise us and ensured that as shareholders we achieved the best possible deal."

Michael Barcia, Director at Meridian commented, “It was a real pleasure to work with Peter and Chris and NTT have acquired a first class management team and a business which is the market leader in design and implementation of rich internet applications.

The transaction with NTT allows RMA the opportunity to expand and consolidate its position as the market leader in this space as well as providing the acquirer with an extremely experienced team of design consultants to lead complex design projects.

Meridian have undertaken a number of high profile international disposals and having sold the RMA business to a Japanese Telco, proves that our reach is truly global."
