Dan Kirtley Nominated for CF Adviser of the Year

Since joining Meridian three years ago, Dan has used his transactional background in debt and banking to great effect on a large number of deals, as well as building trusted relationships among professional colleagues. He also sits as an adviser on the boards of Stewart Signs and until recently Dream Doors, reflecting Meridian’s long-term approach to client engagements and assisting with strategic change.

Dan completed 6 lead advisory transactions in the qualifying period, totalling c. £110m, all of which involved multiple Solent firms and advisers, demonstrating Dan’s extensive network of professional contacts. He is a key member of the Meridian team helping to drive our 90% completion success rate.

Dan has built up a reputation for problem solving and delivery among clients and professionals alike. With a keen eye on outcomes, he draws on his transactional experience to balance the interests of funders, shareholders, acquirers and other stakeholders in order to navigate a path to agreement and completion. During the qualifying period, this included four debt-funded management buyouts, funded by a range of banks including; RBS/NatWest, Lloyds and Barclays.
