Meridian advised the shareholders of Limburn Boiler and Heating Services Limited (“LBHS”) on a management buyout to the existing management team.

Founded in 1979 as a privately owned family business servicing large industrial boilers, LBHS has grown into a leading provider of specialist heating and boiler care servicing and work with major companies and government bodies such as the PSA, DOE and MOD.

Hattie Hole, Manager at Meridian who led the transaction commented, “Having previously bought the company from the founder shareholder 11 years ago, Richard was already aware of some of the structures available to allow the legacy of the company to continue. We worked with the team to determine that a management buyout was the best strategic option for the business, as well as the shareholders and management team, as it would allow Richard to transition ownership to the incumbent management team smoothly. It was great to advise both parties on structuring and completing this deal.”
